Situations

Holidays override the regular week. Log when they don’t.

Christmas Eve is not “Christmas.” Your order’s start and end times are the rule. Log withheld holidays the same day.

Note the ordered start and end times, what actually happened, and any message about the change. Dated entries made the same night are easier to rely on than a summary written months later. The other parent never sees this record.

What to log

The ordered block
Start date and time, end date and time, who has the children.
Exchange location
As written in the order, and where it actually happened.
What occurred
Holiday withheld, returned late, or as ordered.
Hours withheld
The part of the block you did not get.
Facts only
Times, places, and what was said in writing.

In the appCalendar → Add this year's holidays from your order, then log the day if it did not go as written.

Scout is free. The other parent never gets a login.

Questions parents ask

What if they keep the child on a holiday?

Log the ordered block, then log what happened and the hours withheld. Holiday entries sit above the normal rotation so the difference is clear.

Do I need to know my order paragraph number?

No, but you can paste the clause into the entry if you have it. Nothing is required and nothing is invented for you.

Does this work outside Texas?

Yes. The wording of holiday blocks differs by state and by order; recording start time, end time, and what happened works anywhere.
