Situations

The call did not happen. Write down which one.

Blocked calls are hard to show later because nothing is left behind. A call that never connects leaves no text and no voicemail, so the record has to be made by you, the same evening.

Log the call your order allows, what you tried, and what happened. Twenty dated rows carry weight that “they never let me call” does not.

What to log, the same day

Scheduled call
Day and time your order allows, if it sets one.
What you tried
Phone, FaceTime, video app, or a text asking to call.
Did it connect
Answered, declined, no answer, or blocked.
How long
Minutes on the call, if it connected at all.
Who ended it
You, the other parent, the child, or the line dropped.
Facts only
What was said or not said. No guesses about why.
Attachment
A screenshot of the call log or the text you sent.

In the appCalls → Log a call. Then Write for court if you want it in neutral wording.

Scout is free. The other parent never gets a login.

Questions parents ask

They blocked FaceTime. How do I prove it?

Log each attempt with the date, time, and what the screen showed, and attach a screenshot of your call log. The pattern of dated attempts is the record.

Do I log calls that went fine?

Yes. A log that includes the calls that connected reads as a record rather than a complaint file.

Does the other parent see this?

No. There is no co-parent account. They are never invited and never notified.
