Situations
They do not have to join this vault.
OFW and TalkingParents need both logins. Custody Ninja does not. You keep the calendar, journal, bills, and packet.
If a judge later orders a shared app, use that app for messages and keep Ninja as the private record.
What to keep on your own
- Exchanges
- Scheduled beside actual, every time.
- Messages
- Paste a thread or import a WhatsApp export before anything is deleted on their phone.
- Expenses
- Amount, what it was for, reimbursed or not.
- Documents
- Uploaded and numbered so a packet you printed last month still matches.
- Journal
- Facts, times, witnesses, and what you did next.
In the appStart free. There is no invite step, because there is no second account.
Scout is free. The other parent never gets a login.
Questions parents ask
Does the other parent have to join?
No. There is no co-parent account at all. They are never contacted and never see your vault.
Is this OurFamilyWizard?
No. OurFamilyWizard and similar tools are shared by both parents. This is a private record kept by one parent.
What if they delete their texts?
Save the thread into your own records first. Once it is in your vault with its date, deleting it on their phone does not remove your copy.
